What’s your favorite punctuation mark, and why?

When I get a chance to sit on an interview panel for a communications position, there's a question I can't wait to ask:

"What's your favorite punctuation mark, and why?"

I honestly don't remember whether I came up with this myself or heard it somewhere years ago. But I've claimed it as mine.

I love it because it's the perfect combo of low stakes and high yield.

There's no correct answer. But if you're a professional communicator worth your salt, you are GOING to have an answer. And that explanation tells me something about how you think about language.
